FP7: BUONAPART-E - Better Upscaling and Optimization of Nanoparticle and Nanostructure Production by Means of Electrical Discharges
Type of Funding: EU Integrated Research Projects, FP7
Abstract:
Better Upscaling and Optimization of Nanoparticle and Nanostructure Production by Means of Electrical Discharges is a European research project co-financed by the European Commission in the ‚Nanosciences, Nanotechnologies, Materials and new Production Technologies (NMP)‘ research theme of the 7th Framework programme, contract no. 280765.
The innovative, four year project aims at developing industry relevant quantities of high quality nano-particles in an environmentally friendly and energy efficiently way. BUONAPART-E aims at developing a flexible platform enabling to deliver a step change in the availability of high quality nano-particles and nanostructures with customer demand process throughput and competitive product costs. The successful completion of these objectives requires a multidisciplinary and cross-sectorial approach, which can only be achieved with the cooperation of actors from various disciplines and industrial branches. The project gathers 21 partner institutions from all over Europe with high level of expertise in their respective scientific and technological fields.
