Nano carbon electrodes for biological electrochemistry

We are investigating the effect of nanostructured surfaces on the sensitivity and selectivity of simple carbon electrodes for neurotransmitters. The ultimate goal is to use these electrodes to scan living tissue slices ad/or to implant them into freely behaving organisms.
