Hysteresis Design of Ferroelectric Materials
Anna Grünebohm, Ruhr-Universität Bochum, Germany
This contribution focuses on the fundamental understanding and design of ferroic hysteresis for energy conversion in ferroelectric materials. After introducing analogies and differences between ferromagnetic and ferroelectric hysteresis, we focus on the domain wall dynamics in ferroelectrics. In particular, we discuss multi-step switching on domain walls and the accelartion of domain walls by non-equilibirum effects based molecular dynamics simulations for BaTiO3.
